IT WAS so Staggeringly Good that next year’s Petersfield Beer and Cider Festival will be a ticket only event.

This, say organisers Steve Jacob and Ben Errey, is to avoid turning disappointed punters away at the door and to ensure supplies don’t run out.

Hundreds of dedicated drinkers poured into the Festival Hall on Friday and Saturday to sample the huge range of ales on tap.

So popular was the Knight Ryeder from the Staggeringly Good brewery, its barrel was dry after the first night. But there were plenty of other beverages on offer from breweries including Meon Valley Cider, Southsea Brewing Co, and Langlands.

The live entertainment went down very well too, with a range of music genres performed.

“There was great feedback over the weekend and we thank our local loyal supporters for another successful festival,” said Steve.
