TO record these troubled times for posterity The Post is hoping for help from local residents, young, middle-age and elderly, men, women, couples, families, mums, dads, children, and single people from all walks of life.

Especially if you live in Petersfield, the villages out to Harting, Rogate and West Meon, also Liss, Liphook and the villages around them, and Clanfield, Horndean, Rowlands Castle and the villages near them.

If you could send us photographs of your day-to-day ‘lockdown’ life with a few words explaining the picture.

They can be funny, picturesque, moments in time, moving, happy, sad, home cooked meals and dishes, views, walks, home entertainments, your pets sitting in the sun, someone asleep on the sofa, whatever, anything, its entirely up to you.

You can also send recipes, favourite walks, book and music reviews, bike rides, gardening tips, home maintenance, or just your thoughts – but please, send a photograph with each one.

Some will be used in the Post each week, the rest will be saved and depending on how many, the rest will be published once this crisis is over.

They will then be made available to Petersfield Museum as a historical record.

Pictures should be emailed jpeg attachments to [email protected] -- please include a telephone number -- and if you have any queries please contact Jon Walker on 01730 232605.

Hope you and yours stay fit, well and safe till this over.
