POET Paul Lyall is to take to the stage for Petersfield’s Write Angle later this month.
His stories and poetry go on non-stop. He has audiences laughing from beginning to end, says organiser Leah Cohen.
Paul is a wonderful and polished performer. He is funny, warm and his timing is perfect. He’s fast-moving, hip, accessible, rhythmic, clever and real. He involves the audience and they’re with him from start to finish.
Paul was Poet in Residence at the Roald Dahl Museum where he gave special performances and workshops, and had the honour of sitting in Dahl’s chair where he wrote poems.
He’s performed in unusual places from Arsenal FC’s dressing room to shops in the N1 London Shopping Centre. He’s gigged at ten Edinburgh Festivals and many prestigious venues.
Paul presented and starred alongside former World Poetry Slam Champion Kat Francois in the BBC/CBBC television programme The Big Slam Poetry House. He will be at The Townhouse next Tuesday.
The usual Open Mic session will also be on. Entry is £6. Visit the website at www.petersfieldwriteangle.co.uk
