MODELLERS of many disciplines will gather at the Hollycombe Working Steam Museum this weekend for the museum’s Model Weekend.
A working miniature display area is planned and there will be a grand parade and line up of the miniature steamers on both Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.
Among other attractions, as well as railway layouts of various gauges, there will be a working fairground, Meccano, Lego, a collection of model buses from the Aldershot and District Traction Company, other static steam models, lorries and boats, and a knitted model village.
Hollycombe’s resident Liphook Modellers Club will have their clubhouse open with a display and a number of visiting engines will be running on the museum’s seven and a quarter inch gauge Garden Railway.
