TEN NEW Home-Start Butser volunteers have completed a course so they can support families and parents finding it hard to cope.
East Hampshire district councillor Robert Mocatta helped to fund the course, and said he was very impressed with the work volunteers do when helping families through a critical time in their lives. He added: “I fully support the work that Home-Start Butser volunteers do, and think this is an excellent use of grant funding."
Home-Start Butser scheme manager Nicola Winter said: “Our volunteers are parents and work with families to help them cope with the stresses and strains of life and make sure they have the skills, confidence and strength to nurture their children.”
