LISS Royal British Legion (RBL) members took part in Great Pilgrimage 90 (GP90).
GP90 marked 90 years since the first British Legion Pilgrimage in 1928.
The ceremony at Ypres in Belgium commemorated the launch of the victorious Hundred Days Offensive in August 1918, and was in remembrance of those men who never returned from the conflict.
More than 2,000 members from more than 1,100 RBL branches marched with bands and branch standards through Ypres to the Menin Gate for a service and the laying of wreaths. Liss RBL standard bearer Scott Cormie and wreath layer Terry O’Connor marched on the parade and a wreath was laid in memory of the 58 men of Liss who died in the war.
