THE TV relocation show Location, Location, Location came to Petersfield to help a couple from Lancashire find a house here.

The couple want to move close to the South Downs National Park to be near to their children in London, and presenters of the Channel Four show Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer viewed a house in Queens Road with them.

The house is on the market with estate agents Williams of Petersfield in College Street.

Williams branch manager Andrew Woodcraft said: “They filmed around East Hampshire and West Sussex, but particularly liked Petersfield, due to the access to London via the train service and also by road on the A3.

“The couple liked the town and seemed to like the house, as it is well positioned for the station and the town centre lifestyle.

“I found the filming extremely interesting and have to say Phil and Kirstie were lovely people, happy to chat and have photos taken.”

The Queens Road house was the fourth one the potential buyers looked at, after being interviewed upstairs at the Folly Wine Bar, also in College Street.

The date of screening is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected the episode should be aired before Christmas.
