A SINGING nursery that now has branches across the South East celebrated the 20th anniversary of its first group in Petersfield. Founded by music teacher and mother of three Christine Strode from Emsworth, the first Mumbaba group away from her home opened in The Avenue Pavilion in Petersfield in November 1995. She said: “We had a wonderful sing-a-long session and a feast of homemade goodies. The toddlers loved to join in with all the songs, the babies were so interested they forgot to cry and the grandparents enjoyed a hearty sing-along. I am thrilled this group is still going strong after 20 years.” Mumbaba provides fun session of sing-a-long songs, dancing, clapping and action songs plus time for a relaxing sit down, coffee, biscuits, chat and play.
