A MILE of pennies laid in Petersfield shopping mall Rams Walk raised £300 towards the total gathered at an In Ministry to Children (IMC) fundraising fun day. There were also stalls selling items such as home-made cakes, home-made jams and marmalade, bric a brac, plants, second hand books, knitted children’s clothes, and one selling plants. IMC spokesman John Studd said: “Thanks to the loan of a static cycle frame from Cycleworks in Lavant Street, cyclists could race against the clock.”
