PETERSFIELD residents keen to learn more about the government’s approach to the climate and energy can quiz East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds at an open meeting in the town.

Organiser Kevin Fry, who lives in Petersfield said: “I hope that parishioners and other local people will come to speak up for the love of the earth, our common home, and our global family.

“This will be a chance to hear what our MP has to say about the Government’s approach to climate and energy and for us to discuss the issues and what else can be done’. Last year, world leaders agreed to act on climate change and shift from fossil fuels, the biggest cause of climate change, towards renewable energy.”

The question and answer evening will take place in St Lawrence Church Hall in Station Road on Friday, October 14, from 6pm to 7pm.

Details about the evening from St Laurence Parish Office, 01730 262290.
