MEETING the Queen after receiving a prestigious award was a proud moment for Petersfield businessman Nigel Clarke (pictured centre).
The chief executive officer of Morgan Innovation and Technology attended a reception at Buckingham Palace with his wife Jessica (pictured second left).
His company, based at Petersfield Business Park in Bedford Road, was given the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in April. Morgan received its first Queen’s Award in recognition of achievements in designing, developing and manufacturing new products for medical and commercial purposes in 2011.
Nigel said: “Attending Buckingham Palace was an unbelievable experience. Her Majesty the Queen took time to speak with us which was an extremely proud moment. We are privileged to be recognised in these awards."
