PETERSFIELD Infant School pupils celebrated harvest festival with a special assembly, at which they sang songs and shared poems.

A collection of food was also made for the harvest table, and after school there was a harvest sale for parents to come and buy the produce.

Deputy Head Allyson Crew said: “Year Two children did a fantastic job, selling all the food, and collecting the money, which will be split between Canine Partners and Petersfield aid charity, the Rural Refugee Network.

“Our harvest market was very successful. We were given such generous donations and can’t wait to send the money forward to our chosen charities.”
