Children at Petersfield Infant School got into the Easter spirit by making and wearing bonnets on the last day of term, and wearing them to a special assembly, where they talked about the Easter story and sung songs and hymns with an Easter theme.

The highlight of the assembly was when pupils and staff staff, got up to sing the spring chicken song, a school favourite, said teacher Annette Turner.

Headteacher at the school in St Peters Road Allyson Crew added:" There were some very creative designs, and they all looked amazing, even the staff wore their own creation s too.”
