BLANKETS for the homeless in London have been made by the knitting circle at St Laurence Catholic Church in Station Road, Petersfield. They have been created during the past year, as a fitting tribute to Mother Teresa who was canonised Saint Teresa this month. The homeless people benefitting from the blankets are cared for by the Mother Teresa Missionary Sisters. Said knitting group leader Ludmilla Boswell, of Liss:?“Our aim is to do this work of love for those whose lives and spirit are broken and to let them know people do care.
