POLICE have confirmed a 44 year-old man from Petersfield was arrested on suspicion of a grooming offence outside Petersfield train station shortly before 2pm on Wednesday, October 5.
He has been bailed until Monday, November 7, pending further enquiries.
About half-a-dozen police cars and vans arrived at the station just before the arrest was made, said witnesses.
