The 13th definitely wasn’t an unlucky day for a canine charity as shoppers gave generously during a collection in Petersfield town centre.
Nearly £470 was donated when Guide Dogs for the Blind held the event last Saturday in Rams Walk.
“Everyone loved meeting out working Guide Dogs and the puppies in training – lots of questions were asked,” said a spokesperson for the good cause.
“They were amazed at what they can do and how they help the blind and partially sighted people in the local area.”
