PETERSFIELD?Town?Council has awarded Citizens Advice Petersfield a £12,000 grant.

The grant comes as the service which advises on issues such as debt, unemployment and homelessness settles into a new home in Petersfield Library.

Since 1992 it had been housed in the former doctors surgery in the Festival Hall car park, but it says the surgery was old, cramped and no longer suited the needs of the service.

The service is now on the top floor of the library in The Square. Its new offices are fully accessible via a lift.

A drop-in facility is offered four days a week. For more information visit the website at: www.citizensad viceeasthampshire.org.uk
