THE Petersfield Youth Theatre Summer Holiday Activity, ‘Put on a Show,’ was hosted by Bedales School in its beautiful grounds for 10 days with 160 young people taking part.

A spokesman for the youth theatre, based in Heath Road, said: “For the PYT team it was a joy to see so much fun and laughter and the freedom of the open air, and the show the young people put on was Cats.

“It was staged in a 100-foot long marquee and they performed to three audiences on the final day.”

The theatre gave thanks to Bedales of Steep for hosting the rehearsals and show, as well as Alitex, The William Brake Foundation, Churchers College, The Country House Company, Ditcham Park School, Franklin Project Management, Littlejohn, MacDonald Oates, E Morgan & Sons, Petersfield Town Council, Pegasus, Picketts & Pursers, Salon 16, Sew Creative and Waitrose for donations to make it all possible.

“Also thanks to our treasured corporate patrons; Bedales, One Tree Books, Michel Focard de Fontefiguieres, MacDonald Oates, Littlejohn, pmdc design, and White Rose Petersfield for continuing to support our work throughout the year,” added the theatre spokesman.

Petersfield Youth Theatre weekly workshops start again on Monday, September 20.
