PETERSFIELD Beer and Cider Festival organisers are promising some banging brews and bands as the once-annual event returns.

The two day event is being organised by Petersfield Festivals, the group behind the popular spring, summer and Christmas outdoor festivals in The Square.

Joint organiser Ben Errey said: "The festival will feature fantastic live music and fine ales and ciders from across the region."

Headline band for the Friday, February 28 session from 6-10.30pm will be The Cheesedoctors.

Topping the bill for the Saturday, March 1 session from 12.30-5pm, will be Monkey's Fist and for the evening opening from 6-10.30pm, the big set will be from Steve Roux and the Brass Knuckles Blue Band.
