A MEETING to decide plans for 200 houses in Petersfield has begun with the site being described as a green finger.
South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) planner Richard Ferguson told the packed meeting in the South Downs Centre that the 12-hectare site close to the centre of Petersfield was like a "green finger of undeveloped land."
SDNPA planning committee members also heard in the opening comments that Broadway Park Residents’ Association had expressed concerns about the impact on wildlife and local facilities in a recent letter to the committee.
The meeting continues.
