PLANS for 155 new homes in Liphook have been unveiled by developers Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties.
The Oak Park estate on Lowsley Farm off Longmoor Road will feature three, four, and five-bedroom houses, and a 30 per cent affordable housing allocation.
Taylor Wimpey is investing more than £584,870 in a new roundabout to help ease traffic congestion and make environmental improvements, and a further £796,886 towards education provisions and infrastructure.
The developer has also pledged more than £135,238 towards open spaces and a play area on the estate.
Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties spokesman Roz Wells said: “We want to ensure we’re building houses that are not only of excellent quality but ones people are proud to call their home.”
Oak Park will boast energy-efficient homes, as well as having easy access to transport links and local amenities.
Roz added: “All our homes are available to purchase through one of our handy financial initiatives.
“For existing homeowners we can take the hassle out of selling with the help of our part exchange scheme.
“We become the cash buyer of the property, alleviating the stresses and strains of selling.
“Our Easymover team will liaise directly with estate agents to help sell your house within four weeks.”
For first-time buyers, the Help to Buy scheme has already helped thousands into a new home by allowing them to put down a five per cent deposit.
The rest of the deposit is secured through a government-backed loan of up to 20 per cent.
Construction at Oak Park has already begun, with the sales centre opening in the spring.
