FEARS are growing for the safety of a 57-year-old woman from Horndean who disappeared last night (Sunday) with the family car.

Janet Tyler – who is around 6ft tall and is described as a slim, white woman with short auburn hair – was last seen by her husband around 10pm last night at her Herriott Close home.

Mr Tyler woke up at 4am this morning (Monday) to discover that his wife had left the house and taken their blue Hyundai Getz, which has the registration HN07 SZT.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for her whereabouts and are eager to hear from anyone who may have spotted Janet or the car since the early hours.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Shaun Goddard, quoting 44160036423, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
