A man wearing a mask and gloves has been linked to a spate of vehicle break-ins around a south of Butser village.

At least three vehicles around Horndean were broken into around 2.30am on Friday, August 8, by a man carrying a torch.

The culprit left empty-handed after carrying out a messy search of the first vehicle on Frogmore Lane, but made off with personal items after breaking into another car on nearby Alder Grove.

Further items were stolen from a vehicle parked on Yoells Lane around the same time.
