POLICE have named a woman who was killed following road traffic collision in Petersfield

Yogalakshmi Sinnaiah, 58, from Liss, died following a collision on Tuesday, January 26, with a lorry in Dragon Street, in Petersfield.

The incident happened at the pelican crossing close by the junction with the High Street, Heath Road, and College Street, shortly before 2pm and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the fatal collision are ongoing and officers would like to hear from any witnesses.

A police spokesman said: "Did you see what happened? Did you see the vehicle before the incident happened?"
