PETERSFIELD Police are warning that fake money is being passed in town center shops.

East Hampshire District Police Community Support Officer Tria Gibbs said: "Please be aware that there have been counterfeit Scottish £10 and £20 pound notes being passed in Petersfield shops."

To report fake notes call police on either 999 or 101.
