BRITAIN post-Brexit was the topic on the table at a Petersfield cafe event with East Hampshire’s election hopefuls serving up their vision.
More than 50 people packed into the upper room at Costa Coffee in Rams Walk last Sunday evening (May 21) for a Cafechurch election special.
Four of the five candidates standing in the East Hampshire seat in the forthcoming general election – Conservative Damian Hinds, Liberal Democrat Richard Robinson, Labour’s Rohit Dasgupta, and Richard Knight of the Green Party – spoke for five minutes on how they thought the UK would fare on leaving the European Union.
They then engaged in lively debates around the cafe tables, facing some challenging questions.
Hosting proceedings was Dr David Hillson (pictured centre), from Hope Church Petersfield.
