PETERSFIELD Royal British Legion turned out to greet fellow member Mike Homer on the first day of his fundraising effort to meet 100 Royal British Legion representatives in 100 hours.
Mike, from Fareham, is a power chair user and will be travelling by train to meet the representatives across Hampshire and neighbouring counties.
He arrived at Petersfield station last Thursday (July 1) at about 9.20am where he was greeted by Petersfield Royal British Legion members and officers.
He then caught the 9.56am train to his next destination.

In 2019 the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal organiser for Fareham raised funds by crossing the Isle of Wight in his wheelchair in the Wheels Across the Wight challenge.
And in 2018 he raised £3,500 for a funeral for veteran RAF pilot and Legion member Ted Burridge of Portsmouth, who died penniless and without family. To donate to Mike’s latest fundraiser, visit the Justgiving page at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mike-homer1
