A FLOTILLA of toy ducks have completed a worldwide mission to promote a fun event in a village east of Petersfield.

Some of the bath time buddies which will compete in this weekend’s Trotton Duck Race have already sailed around the world.

They were photographed by villager Paul Stephens in locations from Cape Town to the Caribbean when he circumnavigated the globe in his boat, Tin Tin.

The race which will take place at 2pm this Saturday on the River Rother will be one of the highlights of the annual Trotton Fete. Villagers will also be challenged by Paul to enter his ‘guess where their ducks were marooned’ competition by sticking a pin on a chart.
