VOLUNTEERS are being sought to boost vital charitable groups and organisations working in Liss.
This free event is being hosted by the Triangle Centre to highlight the social, economic and emotional impact volunteers have on local services.
Triangle manager Sally Tanner said: “This is a prime time for people to come along, meet some of the groups in your local area and talk to them about what they are looking for and what you can offer.”
The session takes place at the Triangle from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday. No appointment is necessary.
Groups attending so far include: Liss Triangle Centre Office/Coffee Bar, Liss Band, Liss Infant School PTA, Crossover Youth Centre, East Hill House, Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Friends, St Mary’s Church and Liss Brownies.
Any organisation wanting to book an exhibition space or wishing to display posters and leaflets should call 01730 301000.
The coffee bar will be open for refreshments.
