ROAD maintenance staff are to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth in aid of Petersfield charity, FitzRoy, of Hylton Road, which supports people with learning disabilities.

The six-strong team from Amey plus a Hampshire County Council employee, Nicolle Cloete, will attempt the challenge on Saturday, June 24.

Amey office administrator Wendy Stewart said: “I am really looking forward to it, and to helping such a worthwhile cause.”
