A RUNNER had a nasty surprise last Wednesday when he discovered a large area of fly-tipping in Petersfield.

Gareth Cousins was shocked to discover the fly-tipping in Ramsdean Road.

“I was out running at 8.30am last Wednesday when I discovered the fly-tipping,” said Gareth.

“It was quite a big amount and was covering part of the road.

“It clearly is appalling.

“The residents were shocked by the amount of it.

“I don’t know why somebody would do this.”

The fly-tipping has been removed from Ramsdean Road, with East Hampshire District Council confirming it arranged for the waste to be cleared.
