See appertising artworks at Fork Handles in Petersfield

BEAUTIFUL artwork is on display at the Fork Handles Kitchen, St Peter’s Road, Petersfield.

Currently exhibiting at the cafe and restaurant is Petersfield-based writer and book artist Nichola Bendall. Blending text and image she uses books as art, destroying yet creating something new in a stunning collision of two mediums. The result in the Words Ink display, which can be seen until December 31, is an otherworldliness where figures wander out of a page.

Also on until December 31 is an exhibition of works by Jill Gordon who has painted all her life and taught art for many years.

Colour is the main thrust of her work, with recent paintings showing the feelings of the subject, not just the figurative interpretation.
