RETURNING to the ranks to help Petersfield Youth Theatre (PYT) celebrate its quarter century with a musical extravaganza are talented past cast members.

Will Swadling and Ellie Shaw are two who are coming back to take part in 25 Songs from 25 Years, at the Festival Hall on Saturday.

Will’s last production for PYT was as Thuy in Miss Saigon, and Ellie took the role of Eponine in Les Miserables.

She is joining the cast to relive her performance of On My Own from that show.

There will be many of PYT’s past members involved in the show, returning from universities, travel, work experience and training to be in the spotlight on the Petersfield stage once more.

They will join the current cast in the singing and dancing in this exciting production directed by PYT’s artistic director Nik Ashton, with music director and conductor Jonathan Gill.

The best-loved 25 songs from the PYT repertoire will feature in the two performances, at 5pm and 8pm.

Tickets are available from One Tree Books, Lavant Street, on 01730 261199, or www.ticketsource.co.uk.
