IT?MAY?not feel like it, but spring is on the way, and it was celebrated by the Celtic festival of Imbolc at Butser Ancient Farm on Saturday, January 30.

Jonathon Huet, of Walk with Trees, led the event which featured stories, music and a ceremonial fire lighting demonstration. A light meal was enjoyed and visitors had the chance to see the newly-built Saxon hall.

Imbolc is the curtain-raiser for the 2016 season at the farm.
