An entrepreneur is reaching for the stars after launching his own brewery in a village near Petersfield.
Hugh Trevor has achieved a lifetime ambition by opening his Dizzy Heights microbrewery in Steep Marsh.
The former apprentice has always wanted to go it alone after ten years of working for breweries in London and the Home Counties.
Mr Trevor was the toast of The Townhouse this afternoon (Thursday, April 30) as two of his tipples – Flutterby Golden Ale and Bestie Bitter – were on tap when the High Street hostelry held a “Meet The Brewer” event.
And “delicious” was the buzzword with his brews going down a treat in the packed pub.
He said: “I’ve been a brewer for ten years so it doesn’t matter what sort of climate there is - at the moment it’s all manageable with costs and that’s key for us.

“It’s always been a goal of mine to go it alone and work for myself and brewing because I’ve been doing it for a while.
“I did my apprenticeship at 40 Foot Brewery in Hackney and worked my way up to head brewer there.
“After moving out of London I worked in Hertfordshire at Mad Squirrel Brewery in Hemel before coming down here.
“I was home brewing before I did my apprenticeship and that stemmed from having to pay for beer in London – brewing it myself made it a whole lot cheaper.”
Real ale and craft beer aficionados may recognise Hugh as he still works for the Escapist, which has branches in Chapel Street and Chichester.
His other brews include Foothills Hazy Pale and an IPA called PDA, with the first barrels rolling out on March 18.
He added: “It’s not just the Townhouse as we’re supplying to pubs and restaurants around the region, so look out for us.”
