TESCO in Petersfield has given a £250 boost to the chosen charity of popular local harmony singers Petersfield Voices after the group helped celebrate the store’s re-launch.

On Saturday, October 8, Petersfield Voices sang at lunchtime and complimentary Tesco Finest cake and prosecco was handed out to customers during the day.

The singing group received a cheque for £250 from store manager Marc Lamburn to aid its fundraising for The Rosemary Foundation.

The Causeway store was officially re-opened last week by Petersfield Mayor, Councillor James Deane, after a refurbishment that’s means the store now has a clothing section featuring children and baby ranges, an in house bakery and a

car wash.

Work has also been done to repair the footpath running down the side of the store and protect it from flooding.

The Rosemary Foundation provides a ‘Hospice at Home’ service in Petersfield and the surrounding towns and villages. It is intended to help patients in the latter stage of life threatening conditions.

Petersfield Voices perform for a variety of local organisations and care homes and have now raised more than £2,000 for the Foundation.
