THE STUDIO at The Petersfield School has a couple of exciting shows coming up.
The Spitfire Sisters will be performing on?Friday, December 8, at 7.30pm.
The Spitfire Sisters started in 2011 as a 1940s three-part harmony cover group singing hits from the Andrews Sisters and Boswell Sisters.
They have since become internationally acclaimed vintage music makers in their own right.
They perform an eclectic mix of songs, including original tunes from their self-penned album Put Your Phone Away, classic repertoire from the 1940s and modern songs with an old fashioned twist. Tickets are £14 each.
Meanwhile, a festive show will bring Christmas spirit to the studio.
Called Squash Box – The Christmassy Christmas Show of Christmassy Christmasness, it will be performed on Thursday, December 21, at 4pm and 6pm.
The Christmassy Christmas Show of Christmassy Christmasness is an over-stuffed stocking of seasonal surprises crammed with puppets, songs, quizzes and comedy, and over-flowing with crazy characters, silly slapstick, tall tales and fantastic facts – all presented in that unique Squashbox style.
