A TICKET office staff member at Petersfield station was in a "terrible state" after robbers forced him to hand over thousands of pounds.
One commuter who comforted him after the attack said he appeared to be in shock, crying and shaking. He also gave the impression he thought the two robbers were armed, added the commuter.
As the Post went to press, British Transport Police (BTP) said a clear CCTV image of one robber didn't show him carrying a gun or a knife, and it wasn't believed either was armed.
