IT WAS a close shave for Emma Martin in a fundraising stunt in memory of a friend and former Bedales student who died aged 38.
The razor came out on the locks of Emma, of Stafford Road, Petersfield, in the capable hands of her regular stylist Sophie at Coates Hair Design in Chapel Street.
And the 45-year-old has raised more than £550 from the shave by sponsorship, and donations, some of them from customers who were watching.
Sophie contributed her usual fee too....
