PETERSFIELD students were out and about at Oxford University where they were able to find out more about university life and take a tour of the college.

The Year 10 and 11 students from The Petersfield School (TPS) in Cranford Road visited St Edmund Hall to find out more about academic life at an Oxbridge university.

They also visited the lecture theatre in the law department for the challenge of an interview-style activity, and the chance to ask some questions about the application process.

TPS principal, Mark Marande, said, “The students are part of our “Ignite” group of academically able students who are stretched and challenged to aim high.

“They had a great day, with many feeling confident and inspired to consider Oxbridge in future.”
