TWO POETS with extensive back catalogues of writing are the guests at this month’s Write Angle event.
Claire Booker is a Brighton-based poet who has been part of PoetryArtExchange, an international project in Romania and the UK, as well as other events in?London and Birmingham.
Her play The Devil and Stepashka was performed on BBC?Radio 4 and other stage plays have been translated into French,?Spanish and Russian.
Booker’s debut pamphlet contained 25 poems and was labelled as “clear-eyed and elegant.”

Appeal shock as part of cherished Petersfield shopping lane set for redevelopmentClaire Dyer, originally from Guildford, is a poet and novelist who appears regularly on BBC Radio Berkshire.
She has published four novels and two poetry books which have been hailed as “exquisitely written” and “carefully crafted”.
Dyer teaches Creative Writing at Bracknell and Wokingham College and is a member of numerous literary societies.
The Petersfield Write Angle event will be held tomorrow?(Tuesday) at 7.30pm in the Townhouse Bar. Tickets are £6.
