A PETERSFIELD man who returned to Petersfield a year ago decorated the front of his house with balloons in support of the the town and NHS workers.

James Stapleton, grandson of well known Petersfield window cleaner and fireman Harry Stapleton, now deceased, single-handedly put up the rainbow ballon chain on his home in Hylton Road.

The luxury events manager said: "I Moved back to Petersfield from Dubai last April, and I wanted to show my support for this great town and NHS staff -- and share a bit of positivity in these strange times."

James, who is on leave from work because of the coronavirus crisis, added: "In between putting up balloons, I’m keeping busy doing all those household jobs I’ve meant to do, but never got round to -- probabley like a lot of other housebound people."
