A vintage, antique and militaria fair will be held in Petersfield Festival Hall on February 23.

Organiser Sara Hughes, who runs Phoenix Antiques, said: "I have been running vintage fairs in the surrounding villages for over three years now, and have had a shop in Petworth for over ten years.

"I also attend military shows in the summer as a stallholder - any that don’t require me to camp, I don’t do camping - and decided it was time to unite my three loves under one roof.

"I don’t think that this format has been tried before, so I am excited in seeing it all come together with a great variety of items and dealers that should have something for everyone and at affordable prices too.

"I live in Buriton, so it made sense to bring my dream event to Petersfield for a larger, more varied event.

"There are 45 dealers booked and ready to sell their wares to you, including Mother Ducking Vintage, Jill and Trevor Towner Antiques, Tom Lyons Books, Covet Jewellery, Surrey Militaria, Oskars Treasures, Cruickshanks Bazaar, Sara-Louise Designs, Andy’s Armoury, Loved Again Vintage, Cinq Ports Militaria, Glitz Guru - and of course Phoenix Antiques will be taking a stand, along with many more.

"Karen Dalmeny of Dickinson’s Real Deal fame is opening the event, and is staying on at the fair to give free valuations, and even possibly buy your items, so have a rummage in your attics and pop along.

"But do stop at all the stalls, for a browse, and hopefully find the little something you have been looking for and then stay for a cup of tea and a slice of cake - there are bacon baps too and other refreshments, all served vintage style."

Entry costs £1.50 for adults and is free for children. The fair is open from 10am-4pm.
