THE RURAL Refugee Network of Petersfield, a charity which helps rehome Syrian refugees and lone Syrian children, is holding a three-mile fundraising walk from Elsted village hall on Sunday. Meet at 10am and the walk starts at 10.30am.
A family ticket for the Walk for Hope event costs £10 and afterwards there is tea, hot food and cakes in the hall. Walkers will also be able to hear Syrian refugees give talks and answer questions about their experiences.
