PETERSFIELD: The Good Intent, College Street. An Evening of Unordained Gospel and Blues from 8.30pm. Jacob Davies will do his utmost to pay tribute to the work of some of the most enigmatic and tortured souls that the music world has produced. Expect Oldtime Gospel mixed with Soul and Blues artists such as Howlin’ Wolf, Charlie Patton and Leadbelly.
WINCHESTER: Winchester Cathedral, The Close, 3.30pm. Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols. Performed by the Cathedral Choristers and harpist Anne Denholm, official harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales. All are welcome. Retiring collection will be taken.
