PEOPLE of all ages are being invited to enjoy the tale of the little boy who never grew up as the Theatre?Royal?Winchester launches its pantomime.
This year, the theatre is hosting Peter Pan, which is being produced by the same in- house production team that brought last year’s sell-out run of Cinderella: writer and director James Barry, musician Simon Slater and production designer Rachel Fox.
Returning to the cast, the theatre welcomes the extraordinary Julian Eardley as Mrs Smee and last year’s Dandini, Nichole Bird, as Peter Pan. Joining Julian and Nichole on the stage will be Winchester panto newcomers Jonathan Hansler as Hook-Mr Darling, Ed Thorpe as Smee, Louise Peters as Mrs Darling-Mermaid, Eleanor Bennett as Wendy and Indigo Griffiths as Tiger Lily.
They will be joined by a cast of children playing The Lost Boys and dancers.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will receive royalties from the production.
Peter Pan will run until Monday January 1. For tickets, visit the website at: www.theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call the box office on 01962 840440.
