IT’S NO?stitch up – knitting and crochet enthusiasts from around the world will be uniting in Farnham to Unravel.

This crafty three-day festival at Farnham Maltings is a woolly wonder with masterclasses and demonstrations, and a marketplace stuffed with inspiration for new projects.

Now in its eighth year, Unravel has become one of the leading independent events of its kind.

It’s designed to get people interested in taking up kniting or crocheting, and visitors can learn how to make practical items, from hats and socks to phone covers, or take it to a new level by exploring stitches, patterns and technique.

International knitting experts who will be sharing their skills and providing inspiration include: knitwear designer Veera Valimaki from?Finland, Vicki Twigg from Pennsylvania, who is unveiling a new twist on reversible knitting, and Joanna Scrace, renowned crochet teacher, designer and writer.

Opening hours are February 19 noon to 6pm, February 20 10am to 5pm, and February 21 10am to 4pm. Tickets are £7 in advance or £9 on the door. Call the box office on 01252 745444.
