Waverley won by two wickets at Wood Street.
Wood Street lost skipper Rory Leach (nine) and Allon Jameson (one) early on before Finley Williams (35) and Leon Houareau (44) put on 50 for the third wicket to get the home side’s innings back on track.
Aiden Upward (three for 33) took three quick wickets for Waverley, but David Nichols (45) and Brian Noble (32) put on 83 for the sixth wicket to leave Wood Street well placed at 175 for six.
Adam Carmichael (four for 25) mopped up the tail as Waverley bowled the home side out for 187.
Waverley lost opener Wayne Torrey (six) early on, but Jim Wright (37) and Chris Beanland (11) scored useful runs before Simon Brewer hit a belligerent 57.
Toby Elborough fell for 15 as Waverley slipped to 151 for eight, but Adrian Day (23 not out) and Carmichael (ten not out) knocked off the remaining runs.
