Farnham Town are looking to start their season with a victory in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Town are on the road and will travel to Combined Counties Premier Division North outfit Harefield United.
Farnham manager Paul Johnson has made no secret of his desire to secure promotion from the Combined Counties Premier Division South this season, but he still plans to take the FA Cup seriously.
“The league is our number one target, but we still want to progress in the FA Cup,” he said.
“We’ll go to Harefield looking to win the game.”
The club have organised a coach for travelling fans – with seats available for £22 per person on a first-come, first-served basis – and Johnson is hoping to see a healthy away following.
“Our supporters travelled in good numbers last season – hopefully we will have another good following on Saturday,” he said.
