IT WAS sweet charity for children of the Inbetween Club in Petersfield.

The four to 11 year olds donated cash from their tuck shop at the after school club at The Avenue Pavilion to Cancer Research.

A cheque for £100 was presented to Tracey Kill and Emma Jepson, who were dressed up as Peppa Pig and Minnie Mouse, of the Cancer Research children’s shop in the High Street.

Shop volunteer Dang Lavender also attended the presentation by the youngsters from Petersfield Infant School and Herne Juniors.

Dang said: “You all have such a big heart for supporting Cancer Research, so thank you.”

Club supervisor Bev Errey explained that a percentage of money from the tuck shop, which has been running for several year, was donated to good causes.
